That’s why we want to celebrate love with you for four days on Monte Isola in Lake Iseo
– one of Italy’s best-kept secrets.
The location
The location we have chosen for our wedding is an island in the middle of a lake, surrounded by mountains! We are taking you to northern Italy, to one of Italy’s best-kept secrets, Lake Iseo and the island of Monte Isola. There are frequent boat connections that take just a few minutes.
Monte Isola is a peaceful and tranquil oasis. The long lakeside promenade invites you to take walks along the shore, where you can stop for a gelato break. For those ready for a challenge, there’s the option to hike all the way up to ‘Santuario della Madonna della Ceriola,’ a church located at the highest point of the island. The hike takes just over 2.5 hours.
In the small fishing village of Peschiera, near the harbor, lies the villa Castello Oldofredi. The island is nearly car-free, but if you are driving, there is parking available in the village of Sulzano on the mainland.
The entire estate just for us
We have booked the entire Castello Oldofredi from May 29 to June 1, 2025, for our wedding, where most of our guests will be staying. There is a pool and a beautiful garden with olive trees. The view from the villa is absolutely magical, and you can see all the way to the small town of Iseo on the mainland.
All the Practical Details
The Weekend in Italy
We welcome you to a magical weekend in Italy from Thursday, May 29 to Sunday, June 1, 2025. You can book the flight that suits you best. For more information, please see Flights and Transfers.
All bookings are handled by La Villa, who is assisting us with everything related to our wedding. After the registration period ends, you will receive an email from La Villa with a link to your booking. You will also find information on how to make your payment.
The total cost for the package is 5000 SEK per person, with an initial registration fee of 1500 SEK per person, followed by a final invoice that is paid at least 60 days before departure.
If you wish to arrive a day early or stay a few days longer, there are hotels nearby. In the Flights and Transfers section, we have listed hotels in the vicinity.
What’s included in the price:
- Shared transportation to and from the airport for selected flights.
- Three nights’ accommodation, including breakfast.
- Boat transfer to and from the island.
- Welcome dinner.
- Excursion to a vineyard with dinner.
- Wedding dinner and celebration.
The cost of the journey to Italy is on your behalf.
Accommodation
As a couple, you are always guaranteed a private bedroom, which may be part of a larger apartment shared with other guests. If you are traveling alone, there are various options available, including the possibility to upgrade if you prefer a private room. Please inform the hosts if you have any specific requests.

Children
We love your children and think they are wonderful, but this weekend we just want to focus on you. Babies who are breastfeeding and cannot be left with a babysitter are of course welcome.

- Free time. Possibility to visit the popular market in Iseo in the morning.

- Dinner and celebration.
Sunday, June 1
- Breakfast.
- Farewell and departure.
There will be some free time for activities of your choice. This time can be spent sunbathing, swimming, or walking. If you want to explore the surroundings, there are boats that go to the town of Iseo, where you can find restaurants and shopping.
Dress Code
- Thursday – optional.

- Saturday – dark suit.
Master of Ceremonies
Speeches or other ideas can be communicated to the master of ceremonies, who will be introduced here later.
Cancellation Policy
If you cancel by March 30, 2025, all fees will be refunded except for the registration fee. Cancellations made after March 30 2025, will incur the cost of participating in the wedding.

Book your flight as soon as possible
May is a month when many people travel to Italy, so many flights will quickly get booked. To ensure that you get the flight you want and at a better price, we suggest booking your flight as soon as possible.

If you choose a flight other than those with transfers, we can offer transfers at good rates. When you register, please provide your flight times.
If you choose to fly with Ryanair, we will arrange for the bus going to Linate on June 1st to drop off guests in Bergamo afterward. This way, you can spend the afternoon in Bergamo and take the airport bus to the airport.
If you decide to fly down a few days before or stay a few days after the wedding, you can still join the transfers arranged by connecting with these. More information will be available later on the registration page.
